Travellers 70 years of age or over
If you will be aged 70 years or over before the completion of your journey, the CGU Travel Insurance policy does not automatically provide cover for losses arising directly or indirectly from any medical condition. This applies even if you have no pre-existing medical conditions.
To apply for cover, you need to complete a Medical assessment form (for travellers aged 70 or over)* and pre-existing medical assessment form and submit it for review (by contacting us) before purchasing a travel insurance policy. Note: if you are travelling within Australia only and do not require cover for a pre-existing medical condition, you do not need to complete this form.
